Bermuda[]
The string containing the name for Bermuda is blank, resulting in the string in Mario Kart Channel giving the player some kind of title based on how they perform while playing (items, not showing.
This may be because Bermuda was a late addition to the 3DS country list and in the case of Mario Kart 7, they simply forgot to add it either due to not being aware or time constraints.
Cayman Islands[]
Cayman Islands has a flag but it goes unused for reasons unknown. Future games including country flags ignore giving a flag to Cayman Islands.
Also, either when the players for the next race/battle are shown when checking a player from Cayman Islands if scrolling up or down, there will be a slight delay (in the latter case) before the player is seen standing on the globe although it's slightly faster than China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
China[]

Hong Kong[]
Hong Kong is unique because it doesn't have its own flag, rather it instead uses China's. The result is it's impossible to tell the two places apart unless the player checks their opponents list and sees if player data has been saved.

Macau[]
Despite not being listed, there exists some data for Macau.
The string containing the name for Macau is blank, just like Bermuda's. However, Macau actually has a flag, it being the same as China's. It won't show while searching for players, but will show on the screen showing the players for the next round.
Taiwan[]
Either when the players for the next race/battle are shown when checking a player from Taiwan if scrolling up or down, there will be a slight delay (in the latter case) before the player is seen standing on the globe.
