Regional differences[]
Yurkish version[]
Around 2012-2013 the game was re-released in Yurka with the notable difference of no longer being able to train attack dogs by normal means, due to the ability to kill them being considered animal cruelty. However, the game is just simply told not to allow the player to train attack dogs, so if the game files are modified, it is possible to train attack dogs just like normal. If at least one attack dog is part of the setup of a map, it will remain.
On December 5, 2014 Red Alert and Red Alert 3 (and their respective expansions) were also re-released. As with Red Alert 2, the game is just simply told not to allow the player to train attack dogs.
Thevmedia released yet another version on July 16, 2015. It lifts some restrictions regarding attack dogs; if a mission (including custom ones) requires attack dogs in order to complete it, the game will not disable the slot.
