Unused track models[]

Two track models are completely unused in the final game.

The game is very picky when it comes to track models. If you just change the number, the game will freeze. However, if you use GameShark code 800409F3 0000 (confirmed to only work on Project64 1.6, North American version), and the value matches with the current one, the game will not freeze as long as that's the case.

There's an address in the game that keeps track of the track model's hexadecimal number.

A duplicate of the Main Menu track model (10) without the object model (the Beetles, the snow... you know that stuff). Unlike the latter, this one is never used by the menus.

Overview of track model

Discovered by VanaSWE in May 2012 when looking around in the CARS model viewer. Nothing in the game uses it, so it is never seen.

It contains a road, tree walls, grass and some white "mess" and a bridge that connects the west and east portions of the track model. Only the road and the bridge make use of textures.
